You said — I accept why you disagree with me. My poor husband has me a bit spooked about my willingness to see this through.
Well, let me reassure you... there’s no physical danger to you requesting that. Heck! People make administrative requests like that, for one thing or another, all day long. I simply won’t buy into this “danger” bit...
But, let me qualify that “danger” bit a little so you’ll understand. Let’s say someone is on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list, and they stand up at a meeting and question Obama’s policies... well... I wouldn’t do it, if I were them, because someone who doesn’t like the questions, just might recognize the guy from the FBI’s 10 most wanted list... LOL...
You get the idea... don’t make yourself a target for what you can *legitimately* be hassled about .... :-) (the emphasis is on “legitimate”... if you get my meaning).
If someone has skeletons in their closet and another person doesn’t like what you’re doing, they’re liable to drag them out of the closet, but they were *your skeletons* in the first place and didn’t belong to someone else...
So, with that kind of qualifier... I wouldn’t worry too much... (and actually those state officials have too much work to do anyway, without worrying about all this other stuff and hassling people...).
Good luck, but if my “perception” of this whole thing is correct (and I think it is...) this is going nowhere. However, I will wait and see...
Oh, but I am sneaky. Thats why I pulled their language they used in their October 2008 Press Release to form the bulk of my request. Because I know they have the authority to disclose what I am asking for.
their words: Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obamas original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
Mine: Please confirm that the Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, has personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has BARRY H. SOETOROS VITAL RECORD(S) on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
They have the authority to speak on the ACTIONS of the department, thats why they could make their OCT 08 statement.
And thats all I want to know abouttheir actions. And UIPA says I have the right to know about their actions.
Oh, and I agree with your assessment that they will find a legitimate way to bring someone down IF THEY CAN.
But if they can’t find one, I don’t put anything past them.
