From a reliable source:
Double Secret Fundraising!
Time to revive the American Spectator's "Enemies List".
I don't think Tony has made an ass out of himself in performance yet, has he?
Tony Bennett is a great entertainer, but I have boycotted him for several years. He had made a statement that he wouldn't sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at a sporting event because, "I don't do war songs." I think Tony left more than his heart in San Francisco. Check the brain cells, Tony.
What a waste, a terrible shame.
No secret any longer. Ha Ha...thanks to FR!!!
Not Tony! The others - well, whatever, no big shocker, but Tony?!
"secret" fundraising dinner
Thursday, August 26th
...it's not quite so "secret" anymore. :o)I personally like the idea of dressing up as SANTA CLAUS, wearing a "CIA hat"Estimated anti-Kerry rally time: 6 pm to 8 pm.
Place: somewhere outside the Fairmont Miramar Hotel (EXACT location to be determined.)
101 Wilshire Boulevard
(near Second Street - DRIVING DIRECTIONS below)
Santa Monica, CA 90401
[No serious opposition is expected.]
- to shift the focus from the difficult to resolve (he said, they said) issues about Kerry's fraudulent medals......to his PROVEN lies about "Christmas in Cambodia" - and his "lucky hat" from a CIA operative.
Or, we can stay with "Flipper" and "Girlie Man" themes...
...or we can use ALL OF THE ABOVE. :o)
What do YOU think?
Can YOU be there?
Can YOU bring a DIGITAL CAMERA?
I personally like the idea of dressing up as SANTA CLAUS, wearing a "CIA hat"Special thanks to FReeper Puddleglum for this MARVELOUS idea:
Get a Santa Suit and Hound Kerry (Shameless Vanity)

I wish we could have a freeper show at every Kerry speaking site wearing a Santa suit and holding up a sign saying "Tell us about Christmas in Cambodia!"
-- snip --
"Kerry was IN in Cambodia...
...before he was NOT in Cambodia."
I thought the limit on contributions was $2,000. How do they get away with $5,000 tickets?
I'm not up on campaign finance rules, but isn't there a limit as to how much money sKerry can collect, given that he's opted for federal dollars?
Fairmont Miramar HotelOnce AGAIN, we FReep in Santa Monica!

FREEP REPORT: FReepers defend America's honor from leftist scum in Santa Monica ^ | August 16, 2004 | RonDog [and FRiends]

Last Thursday afternoon, HUNDREDS of happy, smiling, flag-waving patriotic Americans gathered outside a "private, secret" fundraiser at the Santa Monica airport to welcome President Bush back to Los Angeles, for his first visit to southern California since March 2004.
Two very highly repected sources independently calculated that over FIFTEEN HUNDRED people overwhelmed the intersection of 31st Street and Ocean Park Boulevard in Santa Monica, just north of the hanger in which President Bush, Laura Bush and Governor Schwarzenegger appeared at a private fundraiser which had not been widely publicized until a few days before the event -- with the crowd outside roughly divided into half pro-Bush and half anti-Bush.
On a Thursday afternoon.
In Santa Monica...
$3000 for the plate, $2000 for sKerry. Actually, I believe that there's some kind of loophole that allows these kinds of events.
It would be easier and cheaper to publish a list of Whorllywood entertainers and those in the industry who DONT HATE the America of our founders...and arent dedicated to tearing it down and replacing it with some filthy, vile (but accurate) replication of their Hollywood home complete with menials and other hard working taxpayers...
Wecome to Calligula World....
Why do we value our entertainment so much that we subsidize these a holes making them rich and powerfull and influential on our young?....
We don't need no steenkin' RULES!(They are RATS, you see.)Besides, it will be a "DNC fundraiser, with John Kerry."
