I think this is supposed to read:
George Greer is a 63-year-old reprobate judge..."
This is just more fodder for my screenplay. The American people will be told the truth about this case, whether the MSM likes it or not.
So there is a greater coat of sleaze on this guy than the Schiavo case alone!
What an a-hole!
That's a pretty weak charge. Restraining orders aren't very effective at preventing a murder, and who knows what kind of evidence the wife presented to the judge. She was the one who was negligent in marrying a man with such a dark side.
Similiarly, if Terri Shiavo dies against her wishes it would be the result of her gross negligence in marrying Michael Shiavo and not communicating her wishes in the event of her incapacitation to her parents or in writing to anyone. Any negligence on the part of a judge trying to sort out these kinds of domestic disputes would pale in comparison.
"Greer graduated from FSU in 1964, and obtained his law degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1966 (St. Pete Times, 3/18/05). After law school graduation, Greer returned to Clearwater, and began practicing zoning and land use real estate law on his own, from 1969 through 1992."
Hmmm, something is missing. Graduated law school in 1966 but yet no history of military service during a high draft period. What did Greer do to escape military service?
Maybe the blindness, but I dont know if he was to blind for the draft 40 years ago.
This just in: JFK caused his own assasination by going to Dallas.
This just in: Holocaust victims complicate by not leaving Europe soon enough.
And the list goes on and on and on and on. . . .
The point is he did not even try to help protect this woman. You do not seem to understand that not much is needed for a restraining order.
She had called the polcie on him for setting her clothes on fire, correct?
Bet she had more evidence her boyfriend was dangerous than MS had stating Terri wanted to die.
Some of the dates and ages given early in the article don't add up. I'm probably just being nit-picky but it seems to be sloppy writing.
Are you suggesting that Jacqueline killed him?
Surprise, surprise - - Greer is not merely the sick scumbag we see today, he's been a crook for at least 20 years!
Are you suggesting that Terri expressed a death wish in marrying Michael Shaivo?
Your logic is suggesting that when those close to us do us harm, we are the ones at fault, not those who do the harm.
A circus is too good for him.I would like to see a full scale criminal investigation, but not from anywhere in Pinellas County.
Biography? Can we just skip to the last page? Quick?
How do you know that? Maybe he tried to come up with an argument that would support her restraining order but she just didn't present legally sufficient evidence.
You do not seem to understand that not much is needed for a restraining order.
That depends on whether it is a TRO (temporary restrainig order), preliminary injunction, or permanent injunction. It's very presumptious to assert that the judge did nothing to try to help the estranged wife in question without examining the record in the case. You seem to be judging Greer without carefully examining the facts while at the same time criticizing him for doing so.
Here's the story of a women who did not exercise gross negligence with regards to Michael Shaivo:
What former girl friend Cindy Shook said in a deposition about Michael Schiavo:
In April 2001, Cindy Shook (married name Brasher) was interviewed by an investigator working in Terris behalf. Unwilling to come forward because of her immense fear of Schiavo, Cindy had to be subpoenaed and was then subsequently deposed on May 8, 2001 to try and learn more regarding her intimate knowledge of Michael Schiavos character traits.
Excerpts; May 8, 2001 Deposition:
Cindy Shook describing Schiavos possessiveness. "hes very jealous. He stalked me at my at where I worked after I stopped dating when he would get mad at me he would tell me, I would rather be laying in bed in the nursing home with her than with you. I mean he can be the most incredibly mean person"
When asked if she were afraid that Michael would physically harm her or if he would harm children:
"I am concerned about retaliation because I have a child -I have children and a husband. I know him, I know what he told me I said he could be a very mean person." She spoke of how Schiavo stalked her for close to a year after the breakup and that she received repeated phone calls.
"He came on the floor looking for me several times. I felt it was out of character for him to get a job as an orderly at the hospital That was concerning to me. When he would come up to the floor looking for her she was not scared the first time but later was scared.
"In town I would look up when I was driving " she would look up in the rear view mirror and there would be Michael Schiavo. I would look up and he would be behind me in traffic. It continued for several months after he didnt work at the hospital. She would change lanes, try to make a turn and he would do the same. He did this about ten times.
"One time he was behind me in traffic he got next to me in a two-lane going the same way, and he changed lanes basically right on top of where I was at, and I had to swerve not to be hit. I had to swerve off the road. Michael ran me off the road. I considered it as stalking, dangerous and guessed potentially life threatening."
Regarding Terris care, according to Cindy Shook, Michael Schiavo said:
"How the hell should I know we never spoke about this, my God I was only 25 years old. How the hell should I know? We were young. We never spoke of this."
Not at all. I'm just suggesting that if she didn't want to be left alone to die in this situation she was much more negligent in marrying Michael Shiavo than Judge Greer has ever been in this case (or in the referenced case involving the murdered estranged wife).
