Well when you have to talk to the press you might get a little nervous..... and we've been told one way to calm the nerves is to picture someone in the audience naked. So my theory goes. Thats why Tony Snow scowls every now and again.
Thanks a lot! That mental image will scar millions for life.
Helen Thomas is a one-woman "target-rich environment".
Placing her in the front row is pure exhibitionism, there's no other term for it. (Well, "freak show" perhaps.)
There are laws against the practice- it's so immoral.
Oh well... Grotesque comedy awaits. Get ready to cringe!
"As a board, we decided to move CNN to the first row. This decision was based on CNN's 27 years of covering The White House, as well as the resources it brings to the in-town and travel pool, and its daily presence at the briefings. In addition, the board agreed to honor a previous commitment by our association to maintain Helen Thomas' seat in the first row. As the dean of the White House press corps, Helen is an institution. First with United Press International and now as a White House columnist for Hearst newspapers, Helen has covered every president since John Kennedy."
Hey boys, good god yall, does this sound like a knight of courage and history? Those who think want to know.
Is it my imagination or does she look like she could be Smeagol's mother. Sweet precious.
Just nearly fell outta my chair.
Thanks for the entertainment!
You mean, Helen belongs in an institution.
Wonder how it makes CNN feel to be ranked right up there with Helen Thomas. I believe I would request 2nd row .
Will they retire her seat when she finally leaves?
Would YOU want to sit in that seat after she finally leaves?
The honor would be too great for this humble man.
The bottom line is that you could put FNC in the hallway and no one would have any questions as to who was the undisputed cable news leader.
