As the dean of the White House press corps, Helen

Why can't they move Helen Thomas to where Molly Ivins is nowadays?

(I like Duncan Hunter for President in 2008!)
I would say this may relegate FOX to the second row for approximately 10 more years minimum.
If a Democrat wins the Presidency there is no way FOX will ever move to the front row. Daily Kos, DU, etcwould not put up with it.

CNN on the front row huh ..?? My, my .. does that mean CNN may now be able to hear what Tony Snow is saying and their coverage may improve ..?? Or .. maybe contain a bit more factual items ..??
Okay .. sorry .. I was just trying to help .. since FOX will move ahead of them in ratings .. and not just for a few key programs .. I thought this might be why CNN was moved to the front row.

Well when you have to talk to the press you might get a little nervous..... and we've been told one way to calm the nerves is to picture someone in the audience naked. So my theory goes. Thats why Tony Snow scowls every now and again.

Wonder how it makes CNN feel to be ranked right up there with Helen Thomas. I believe I would request 2nd row .

The bottom line is that you could put FNC in the hallway and no one would have any questions as to who was the undisputed cable news leader.
