Mrs. Fields has apparently heard the complaints. They are claiming products are on the way. A pic of a cookie with Merry Christmas decorated in icing is on their home page.
So what. That changes nothing in regards to the distorted thinking that is taking place in the company management.
I go to church for weddings and funerals and this kind of thing still pushes my button. This is an indication we are losing the culture war folks. The fact that they capitulated is meaningless.

Often, that's my evaluation of the situation.
BUT...without this sort of "public outing", "the mushy middle"
of Americans might not even notice that a few, key folks in
organizations (companies, universities, government) might perform
Calling out the "change agents" does help to raise public consciousness
about the agenda of these folks.
But I don't know if it really does mark a substantive advance
in winning the culture war.
