The White House is set to name Mike Dubke, the founder of Crossroads Media, as its communications director, sources told Fox News.
Dubke was at the White House Thursday. He will replace Jason Miller, who stepped down soon after he was selected in December.
Dubke has been involved in local, state and federal politics since 1988, according to his bio on Crossroads Medias website.
His experience has brought him a unique understanding of the relationship between political strategy and public policy development, the website read.
Miller abruptly announced that he would not take the job two days after the transition team said he was joining the Trump administration in that role.
Miller, a longtime spokesman for Trumps campaign and later the transition operation, had been named communications director and assistant to the president as part of the senior White House communications team.

Should have given the position to Laura Ingraham, along with some policy involvement.
So because he once worked w Rove it keans he automatically thinks like Rove?
You don’t realize the connection?????????????????????? Or the problem
“In 2016, Dubkes consulting firm Black Rock Group was hired to be the lead strategist for Sen. Lisa Murkowskis bid to be re-elected in Alaska; she was successful in doing so. According to its website, Black Rock Group is a Strategic communications and public affairs firm led by Dubke, Carl Forti and Brian Jones. The aim of the company is to shape public debates through paid, earned and digital media strategies.
‘Dubke and his Crossroads friends did everything they could to kill the Trump movement and failed,’ one person told CNN.”

Not one anti Trump quote from Dubke in your article. All about Rove. Do you not think Trump and staff met w Dubke? Can we trust the guy we hired to make hiring decisions?
Ever heard of can’t beat em, join em? You seem endlessly eager to “prove” Trump is either phony or incompetent.
Oh and this guy is connected to Americans for Job Security...dark money
This guy is GOPE
Oh yeah,..just forget Bannon’s connection to Boyle, eh?
This appointment is a problem.
Rumsfeld worked for GOPe, are you going to change your screenname? Are you a problem??
In a WH filled with leaks and a President under fire from GOPE...you don’t have a problem with a HUGE GOPE person being put in this position.
Don’t start screaming later. You were warned.
Trump hired him. Do you know more than the President? If he doesnt do the job Trump will fire him.
Enough going on without premature freakouts and concern trolling
Like I said..don’t start screaming about Rove. You have put yourself on notice that you don’t have a problem with him getting back into the WH.
Is he not part of the “”never Trump” cabal of Karl Rove? I’m confused, bewildered and stunned!
This is nothing less than troubling.
It is possible that this is the Pence/Preibus/Ryan cabal move and the article from Breitbart is Bannon’s way of saying I don’t agree with this.
Whatever the case, letting Rove back in should be a red flag for Freepers to keep an eye on Preibus..like we didn’t already know..actually apparently some here are fine with it so I guess some don’t know.
He worked to get pro-abortion Murkowski reelected in Alaska. Anybody connected to Porky Pig Rove is bad news. Big time GOPe. Hard to believe Bannon or Conway are OK with this move. My prediction is he won’t last long. Watch for Rove to start praising Trump now that his boy is in charge of communication. He’s criticized Trump daily since he took office. That’ll all end now.
This is sick.
I suspect it’s difficult to find people who are not tainted in some way with rancid GOPe biofilm. You almost have to bring in people with zero government experience if you want to avoid it. If I weren’t married with children I’d certainly consider working for Trump.
Preibus has to go. President Trump better wake up.
Accepting such a position isn’t smart if you’re anti-Trump.
It either exposes you to being nuked from both sides or forces you to defend Trump. He may try something but I don’t see it as hurting Trump.
Last thing we need is any associate of Karl Rove in the WH. He was the reason and fault GW didn’t defend himself against the nastiness of the press.. He admitted it might have been a mistake, underestimating the damage a run away, unchallenged press did to Bush 43.
Laura running for VA senate.
You guys act like these are jobs people want. I wouldn’t be WH comm director for all the tea in China.
