The Postís Least-Fashionable Employee Reviews the 2018 Winter Olympic Uniforms
The Washington Post ^ | February 9, 2018 | Matt Bonesteel

It’s time for another Olympics, which means it’s once again time for the world’s finest athletes to parade about in a bunch of flag-themed outerwear. My boss thought it would be a good idea to give an overview of what these proud Olympians will be wearing in PyeongChang, even though I shop at places that have “Outlet” and “Maxx” in their names and have worn a tie to work approximately once in my 20 years at The Washington Post.

I am, by any measure, deeply unfashionable and thus wholly unsuited for this assignment.

But please, read on.

The USA team looked good during the opening ceremony, as did the Bermuda team in their jackets and Bermuda shorts.

The same impulse spawned stuffed-crust pizza, if you think about it, and no invention is more stupidly American than stuffed-crust pizza.

HERESY!!!!!!!!....................

"France’s winter Olympians, wearing Lacoste, will attempt to be the first winter Olympians to be completely invisible. They certainly will be stylish, though no one will be able to see them." ROFLMAO!

The gloves are sold out. You might check out the Team USA mittens for $125.00.

Those USA gloves rule.

Norway’s curling team appears to be wearing pajamas.

Team Finland definitely has the best hockey jerseys, but I have to give Norway an honorable mention for the subtle image of the Viking ship.

Sorry, the opening ceremony mittens are $135.00 rather than $125.00. The other wool mittens are $195.00. The fringed gloves are probably $500.00 or more new.

Maybe check Ebay at some point.

Yeah well, she’s like 8 ft tall and weighs 125lbs. Nothing, really, looks bad on her.

I’ll be rooting against Vonn and the “coin flips are rather its” ice skater.

My logic is other countrymen like us more than these two...and likely appreciate PDJT more than them.

Didn’t they threaten to not come because they thought South Korea was too dangerous?

The media always tries to support their political soulmates in the fashion industry, trying to turn everyone into a “fashionista”.

And why do I give a dam about the style of the Olympic uniforms? That’s the point, I don’t. It - the Olympics - is about the sports, not the fashions.
