Got me. Every drum of pesticide makes national news. It could be they haven't spotted this story yet. The writer, Carl Prine, is with the Trib, not a news service. He is embedded with the Marines. Maybe the mainstream doesn't want to pick up a story from the Trib --- ground zero of the VRWC. ;~))

Probably the same reason that the "children's" prison in N. Iraq has not appeared. It would not suit the needs of the anti-Americans.
