He humiliated a young woman on national television and put her in an impossible situation. It is unprofessional of him to dehumanize her by swatting her away as if she is a gnat or a dog. He would not have done this to a manly man where there was even a remote chance of escalation. He took advantage of his size and prevented her from doing her job. It is not his microphone. He was allowed to hold it as a courtesy extended to him. If CNN had reprimanded him the Whitehouse might not have felt the need to do anything more. Once it was a spectacle they sort of had to have consequences for that amount of blatant disrespect to the office.
