  • ‘Sex And The City’s’ Profoundly Unrealistic View Of The World Has Hurt Women (tr)

    06/19/2018 9:52:39 AM PDT · 1 of 34
I read an article that reported that the writers of this TV show were all homosexuals, and so the homosexual writers were simply projecting onto the female TV characters their own homosexual feelings and behavior. It is so sad to see how people are affected by the unreality that they see in the media. I warn my teen Sunday School kids that what they see on TV and in the movies is NOT reality. I even gave them a sign to attach to the bottom of their TV, that said, "This is probably not reality."

Weaponizing "equity" is their tactic. The Leftists' concept of "equity" which means equality of results (not "equality of opportunity") is what drives them. These social justice warriors think that they are the "righteous" ones, who fight for fairness and justice, and so they feel morally superior to the rest of us. They are cultist dupes who are participating in the march toward socialism and authoritarian governments like in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and so many other communist atheist countries. And they are being led/motivated by a few activist Leftist professors (and community organizers & union leaders) who want to rule over the rest of us.

Prof. Bret Weinstein has been a liberal progressive professor for many years. He has finally seen the results of his philosophy when he, himself, was harassed and condemned as being racist by students at his college.

These Leftist progressive atheist students need to have a god, a cause bigger than themselves, that they can heroically give themselves to, so that they can feel like their lives are significant. They think that THEY are the saviors of the world and that THEY should rule over all others so that they can bring about a utopian heaven-on-earth. The students have not thought through their beliefs and actions, but their thought leaders, who are radical Cultural Marxist professors, (or community organizers like Saul Alinsky or Barack Obama) know exactly what they are doing. These college students are merely self-righteous "dupes" (Lenin's term), in the struggle to bring elitist totalitarianism to America.

The article also has some good links to previous articles where the author talked about how progressivism functions as a religion for many people.

David French’s thesis that life is like high school, with all of its cliques really does help explain why CEOs and SCOTUS conservative judges often make seemingly stupid decisions to back progressive causes. They want the approval of their wives and liberal friends. Rush has often spoken about the influence that the DC cocktail party circuit has on conservatives who go to DC. People want to be liked by their neighbors and others in their vicinity. Only people who have DEEP convictions about their conservative beliefs can withstand the peer pressure.

The second half of this article contains some really interesting statistics on the malleability of homosexual orientation from a 2007 Cornell University 6-year longitudinal study done on 10,000 individuals. The author also later tells about the results of a 2011 research study. The author's thesis is that since homosexual orientation is malleable/changeable, it should not be treated like race (which can't be changed) in discrimination lawsuits.

“Red letter Christians” are those who emphasize only the words that Jesus spoke (like in the “Red letter” editions of the Bible). This is a handy way for them to avoid the clear teachings of Paul about the sin of homosexuality and other matters.

  • Why It’s Very Difficult For Men And Women To Just Be Friends

    05/29/2018 10:14:30 PM PDT · 1 of 72
This author, Wendy Wilson, certainly has much more common sense (and Biblical sense) about men and women than Aimee Byrd, whom she quotes in the article. It is stupid to unnecessarily tempt men, even the best of men. Aimee Byrd is EXTREMELY naive about how men think.

It also is stupid to think that men and women can be just like sibling brothers and sisters. That line of reasoning doesn't account for infatuation and the stigma of incest. When I grew up with my two sisters, I often hated them. There was NO infatuation to cloud my perception of them. I saw all of their flaws and the way that they treated me. It is MUCH different when a guy meets a gal and sees only the nice front that she is presenting to him. And of course, the same thing applies vice-versa. The thought of committing incest never crossed my mind. It was simple unthinkable. However, with other women, lust is always POTENTIALLY just a few seconds away. There is NO comparison.

His categories seem to fit quite well with 1 John 2:16. The lust of the eyes (greed), the lust of the flesh (sex) and the pride of life (power/pride). In the Bible and in my early Catechism class, I learned about the dangers of the devil (pride/power), the world (greed) and our own flesh (sex). These are the things that the Bible wanted us (and the ancient Israelites and Church) to address. Natural occurring chemical inbalance is a whole different game. Although, self-induced chemical inbalance (due to illicit drugs), perhaps can often be traced back to some desire for an increased sense of pride/power.

Yes, it is nice to see that ONE person got it. She wrote a very reasonable article. I have not run into any Dems so far who are starting to question the Trump-Russia hoax, but this gives some small hope.

  • Jordan Peterson And The Left-Wing Smear Machine

    05/25/2018 11:49:25 AM PDT · 1 of 13
The liberal author, Carol Horton, should be commended for her courage to speak up in defense of Jordan Peterson. But it is quite a statement that it requires so much courage for her to do so. She is saying that there is tremendous pressure for her to conform to the groupthink of her liberal friends. The Left is not interested in arguments pursuing truth. They are only interested in power, and doing whatever is necessary to maintain their power. That includes smearing their opponents with lies and anything else that will discredit them. This fits in perfectly with Alinsky's tactics of polarizing a person, and the Clinton's tactics of "personal destruction."

“Creative accounting” is one of the most common ways that liberal ideas are able to survive for longer than they should. The huge pension costs of liberalism are hidden from the public. Liberalism/socialism looks nice and “compassionate” in the short-term, but it always bites people in the long-term because it is unsustainable. At some point, they inevitably “run out of other people’s money.”

Even the Liberal author, Andrew Sullivan, who loved Obama and absurdly still thinks that Obama was great for race relations, now sees that the current racial politics of the radical Left is destined to divide the USA into warring factions, where there can be no truce or compromise.

Btw, I checked the "Copyright" posting list and I didn't see anything about "New York Magazine," so I excerpted to 300 words, just to be safe.

Yes, the comments at the original article are as delusional as the ones that are usually at NYT articles. We truly live in different universes. My liberal sisters are never exposed to intelligent conservative viewpoints. They simply don’t want to hear any. Conservatives can’t help but hear liberal viewpoints since we are bombarded with them throughout the week by liberal media and schools. The author is clueless and so are his readers. But he plays the “victim card” and so he can feel morally superior and not have to change.

Here is info on this guy from his bio webpage. Roosevelt University is a small, unimportant college in downtown Chicago. It is close to where Saul Alinsky did his work. This guy is a typical Leftist, who thinks that he is morally and intellectually superior to the rest of us and so he, and people like him, should rule over us. And like Alinsky, "the ends justify the means", and so they will stop at nothing to get their way. This is what we are fighting.

I’m currently program director of Political Science at Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago. I earned my PhD in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. My book with Melville House Publishing on political reform in the United States, called "It’s Time To Fight Dirty: How Democrats Can Build a Lasting Majority in American Politics" will be published on April 10th, 2018.

Dems are always so “compassionate” with other people’s money. They can think that they are morally superior to us, but who is going to eventually pay the bills?! The USA is so far in debt that it will probably never repay it. Who is then going to get burned? That debt will eventually lead to stealing from somebody (default on debts or inflating currency). The Dem Leftists never think about the ultimate costs. They only care about feeling and looking good in the short-term.

This is just like college campuses (like UC-Berkeley) turning down conservative speakers because they are afraid of all of the security needed to prevent damage and harm from liberal rioters, such as antifa. The Mayors are succumbing to the “hecklers’ veto,” which becomes a form of censorship. All they need is to announce and show the police force and their no-nonsense “rules of engagement,” and the riots will stop after the first real demonstration of serious police force.

I tutor Korean high school and college students in the Los Angeles suburbs and also teach Sunday School for Korean high school, college and young adults. The kids say that ALL of the local Korean news media always side with the Dems. The parents only hear all this propaganda and so do the kids. Think of the local Asian media as being like what Univision or Telemundo are for the hispanics. And of course, the kids are indoctrinated at school with Dem views by their teachers. It’s sad, but that is all that they hear. That’s the real situation, at least in Los Angeles.
