Welcome to Megyn Kelly Today, Today, a new daily column in which we will share the most memorable things that happened on Megyn Kelly Today every morning until we are no longer able to watch Megyn Kelly Today without feeling like there will be no tomorrow. ·Megyn Kelly began her tease of the show by saying, “This morning on Megyn Kelly Today: Kidney beans, whole wheat pasta, and fava beans?” ·Megyn Kelly walked onstage in a navy—perhaps deep purple—dress. ·Megyn Kelly said today’s show is about “happiness and where to find it.” ·Bobby Finger avoided making an obvious joke here....

When Grace Jo walks along the leafy paths of Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, she is indistinguishable from any other American college student. But the 26-year-old's astounding journey took her from the gulags of North Korea's brutal dictatorship - and the very edge of starving to death - to a new, unimaginable life in the United States. "America is the greatest country in the world," Grace told Fox News in advance of a New York City forum being held by the George W. Bush Institute called "The Spirit of Liberty: At Home, In the World." The Thursday event focuses on...

An Australian woman who stabbed and killed her grandfather claimed that the TV show “American Horror Story” inspired her to commit the crime, The New York Times reported. In August 2016, Brittney Jade Dwyer, 20, murdered her 81-year-old grandfather, Robert Whitwell, in his Craigmore home. Dwyer and her friend Bernadette Burns, 22, traveled to Whitwell’s home in Adelaide with plans to steal his lifesavings. The two promised to do “whatever was necessary” to get their hands on the money. The girls arrived at Whitwell’s home at 11 a.m. Burns waited in the car while Dwyer entered the house with a...
  • Notice how Komen Foundation is NO LONGER MENTIONED during "Breast Cancer" month of October?

no link, just an observation.... open to correction...BUT. While October has been hyped in the media as a "pink" month, standing for breast cancer research, have you noticed that THIS year, the Susan G Komen Foundation--big Planned Parenthood funders--are NOT mentioned prominently? I wonder if SGK is still behind these efforts, but are choosing to mute its involvement. Recall a few years back many of us chose to STOP donating to Komen when the organization BACKTRACKED on a pledge to stop giving money to the abortion mills.

This clip was actually a combination, on several issues, from various sources. CNN criticized at time 7:10 of 17:10 Also Russia (Lavrov) stated just prior to that, at 7:00 of 17:10, as translated into English for the clip: "I don't condone Pyongyang, it behaves provocatively and crudely violates all resolutions of the Security Council." Interesting clip.
  • Mexicans see models of Trump's 'impenetrable' wall, and they're not impressed (They look good!)

SAN DIEGO — The prototypes of the Trump border wall are taking shape this month in a sunbaked swath of scrubland abutting a run-down neighborhood of Tijuana, Mexico. Lined up next to each other, the 30-foot-tall concrete and steel sample barriers — some with extra-stout reinforced bases, others topped with metal spikes — certainly look ominous. The requirements established to realize President Trump's vision call for "a fence that is impenetrable, it's unscalable," said Roy Villareal, acting chief patrol agent of the San Diego border sector. "They can't dig under it. They can't cut through it." (link to the article...

SEOUL, Oct. 19 (Yonhap) -- A North Korean agency made a threat Thursday that Pyongyang could stage an "unimaginable" strike on the United States at an unexpected time amid tensions over the North's nuclear and missile programs. The North's intimidation came as the South Korean and U.S. navies are staging massive joint drills in waters off the Korean Peninsula with the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan being involved.

Did anyone see Jeopardy yesterday? The 3rd appearance of ‘Manny’, a Navy guy, ended with him winning the game with only a dollar. He had only $2,000 going into the final (it had been a rough game for him, he had done much better his first two games). The two challengers were tied with $12,400 each. The final question was really difficult and no one got the right answer. The first answer revealed was Manny’s wrong answer, and he lost $1,999 of his money, leaving him with a dollar. The two challengers bet all their money and lost it all,...

Caneles (or Canneles) de Bordeaux are a traditional French pastry, soft and custardy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and flavored with rum. Traditionally, these are made with a special mold; and you can still do them this way, or make them in simpler, modern variations. Some sources indicate that the best molds to use for this are copper ones; but you can buy them now in other materials. Amazon has the traditional copper: as well as carbon-steel and silicone molds. You can also use small, oven-safe custard cups. For authentic canneles, the inside of the mold is coated...

According to court papers obtained by FOX 29, Pelima told police she dropped the 4-month-old in the tub turned on the water and left him on his back as the tub filled early Tuesday. Police said she then physically assaulted the 5-year old, dragged him to the bathroom and put his head under water until he stopped moving. "She was pretty matter of fact about admission that the two children were dead. Our officers discovered them in the back bathtub," Wilmington Police Department Chief Robert Tracy said, according to FOX 29.

Day five of the maddeningly slow Jake Carrizal trial in Waco ended with a cliff hanger, like the previous four days. The day began with testimony from a polite, professional, retired cop named James Owens who used to work in the Waco police computer forensics lab. He was a consummate government employee. He took meticulous notes and photographed everything, He recorded the contents of phones belonging to defendant Christopher Jacob Carrizal and Bandidos Marshall Mitchell and Ray Allen. The prosecution tried to enter the original downloads from those phones into evidence. Casie Gotro, who is defending Carrizal, never saw the original...
