Last updated: September 23, 2020 Elections for all 435 U.S. House seats will take place in 2020. Ballotpedia has identified 39 of the 435 House races (9.0%) as battlegrounds. Of the 39 seats, 20 have Democratic incumbents, 18 have Republican incumbents, and one has a Libertarian incumbent. These battleground districts were selected by examining the 2018 winner's margin of victory, the results of the 2016 presidential election in the district, whether the incumbent is seeking re-election, and whether the incumbent is serving his or her first term in Congress. Race ratings from the Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and...

Among Democrats and their media allies, it is an article of faith that Donald Trump is plotting to steal the 2020 election. In August, Mark Joseph Stern wrote at Slate that Trump was planning to subvert the U.S. Postal Service to prevent ballots from reaching their destinations in time. Amanda Marcotte has a lengthy essay in Salon, detailing all the nefarious means Trump and his supporters will employ to this end.Vanity Fair recently detailed the planning Democrats are undertaking to thwart Trump’s plots. The Washington Post even ran a news article entitled “Here’s One Way Trump Could Try to...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) A federal appeals court on Sunday temporarily halted a six-day extension for counting absentee ballots in Wisconsins presidential election, a momentary victory for Republicans and President Donald Trump in the key presidential battleground state. As it stands, ballots will now be due by 8 p.m. on Election Day. A lower court judge had sided with Democrats and their allies to extend the deadline until Nov. 9. Democrats sought more time as a way to help deal with an expected historic high number of absentee ballots.

  • Two Judges Confirmed This Week

This will be a weekly post. Count is now 218 judges confirmed. 2 Trade Court judges 161 District Court judges 53 Circuit Court judges 2 Supreme Court justices The Senate this week also confirmed a judge to the Court of Federal Claims (Article I judge, serves 15 years). President Trump is expected to appoint Amy Coney Barrett later today to fill the Supreme Court vacancy resulting from the death last week of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A Barrett confirmation would then leave a vacancy on the 7th Circuit. Should Trump appoint a replacement and the Senate confirm, that would be...

Let's get down to brass tacks -- The communists have been trying to take over our country since world war two... and frankly, they're succeeding! Senator Bernie Sanders is openly socialist, BLM is admittedly Marxist... and we have Antifa fascists as political enforcers. Justice Lagoa is biased AGAINST communism and socialism... and THAT"S a bias on the court that I can live with. She is a logical choice. Yes, there are a lot of issues that us patriots champion... but if the communists -- under the guise of socialism take over -- these "issues" will be moot, because we well...

Its hard to overemphasize thisstory yesterday fromAxios,a reliable Democrat organ. For months, weve been hearing that Joe Biden has a digital campaign that is emphasizing vote by mail (VBM). The reason for the pivot? According toAxios, threats of U.S. Postal Service delays, Team Trump litigation and higher ballot rejection rates become clearer, many are pivoting to promote more in-person voting as well.Nice reasons. All of them possibly contributory. But for the most part, this is a lie. Do you want to know what is really causing the panic? Two words: North Carolina. As the VBM from early voting in North Carolina...

  • Groundbreaking National Voter Roll Study Reveals Alarming Trends as States Prepare to Vote by Mail

An independent, nationwide analysis of voter rolls in 42 states has identified thousands of probable deceased and duplicate registrants, as well as cases of individuals credited for voting more than once. The.. analysis presented ... makes it abundantly clear that states across America, including many that will determine control of the White House and Congress, are unprepared to accommodate a surge in mail-in voting this fall, PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said. After standardizing registration lists in 42 states, Public Interest Legal Foundations SAVE Database uncovered voter rolls saturated with alarming errors. SAVE revealed 349,773 apparently deceased...

Only 29 percent of Americans have faith that the 2020 elections will be conducted in an honest and open way, according to a survey released on Thursday from the Public Affairs Council. Twenty-one percent of the survey respondents believe the elections will be neither honest nor open. The survey, conducted with Morning Consult, polled 2,199 adults on topics related to business, politics and government from Aug. 19 to 21. Eighteen percent of respondents said they think the elections will be open to everyone with a right to vote but wont be run in an honest way. Meanwhile, 14 percent think...

Both Republicans on the five-person North Carolina State Board of Elections submitted their resignations on Wednesday night, saying they were misled about the ramifications of the board's recent legal settlement making rules governing absentee ballots less restrictive. "Regarding the settlement agreement with the plaintiffs in the lawsuit filed by the North Carolina Alliance for Retired Americans against the State Board of Elections, attorneys from [Attorney General] Josh Steins office did not advise us of the fact that a lot of the concessions made in the settlement have already been denied in a prior case by a federal judge and another...

This is downtown Niagara Square, Buffalo, NY - right in front of City Hall. One would think the busiest intersection in in the city (google it to see how many streets meet there) should caution a 'protestor' to avoid standing on the road. Of course, said protestors have probably not been informed about the patience Americans are losing over all this. And thus, behold: the next episode of the 2nd Civil War...

The Democrats whining about President Trumps opportunity to nominate a new Supreme Court Justice seem to have forgotten that elections have profound consequences if the American people had entrusted the left with a Senate majority, then the Democrat Party would have the votes to reject the Presidents pick. Whether the Democrats like it or not, the battle over the Supreme Court was one of the central issues of the historic 2016 election. From the earliest days of his presidential campaign, Donald Trump promised to nominate conservative judges to the bench if and when such vacancies occurred.Im going to submit...

What conceited Democrats arent grasping is that President Trump, master of the deal, has everything on the table, too. "Nothing is off the table," declared Senator Dick Blumenthal (D-CT) in a now notorious Tweet: If Republicans recklessly & reprehensively force a SCOTUS vote before the election -- nothing is off the table. Sometime prior to Saturday, when the president is to announce a nominee to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, we expect this declaration from a Democrat: Im gonna make him an offer he cant refuse. The Deep State will be tasked with the horses head and finding access...

President Trump will select a Supreme Court nominee to fill the vacancy created by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg within a matter of days. We know that it will be a woman. And based on multiple reports, the top two potential finalists are Judge Amy Coney Barrett of the Seventh Circuit, and Judge Barbara Lagoa of the Eleventh Circuit. A law professor at Notre Dame, Barrett was confirmed 55-43 (nearly exactly along party lines) to her current post in the fall of 2017, following a contentious process. To be clear, I believe Barrett is a brilliant and capable...

If there was some feeling over the last couple of weeks that Donald Trump was moving in the right direction electorally, we now have more empirical evidence to back that up.ABC News has released their latest state polling and the President has now taken the lead in two key states, pointing to a race that is tightening and moving in Trumps direction as Joe Biden continues to hide in his basement most days. Biden still leads Trump with support among registered hispanic voters in the states a voting group w/ a diversity of opinions. In Florida, his 13-point lead trails...
